Katie Martin
About This Event
Katie Martin is an independent multimedia artist, singer-songwriter, and certified sound healing practitioner based out of Alabama. [1, 2] Frequently collaborating with Grammy Award-winning producer Larry Mitchell, she has released a powerful trilogy of albums—"Purpose", "Hope", and "Faith"—that seamlessly fuse acoustic blues, folk, and soul with conscious storytelling. As a prominent live looping artist, Martin builds intricate, layered soundscapes on stage using her guitar and vocals, a skill she has showcased at major music gatherings like the Opelika Songwriters Festival. Beyond her music, she designs all her own album cover art, curates multi-sensory companion art collections, and integrates crystal singing bowls into her performances to create therapeutic, immersive acoustic experiences for her audience.
